Sonar Behavior Online Clinic is not a therapy based clinic, and simply is prescription and treatment management online only. The difference between the two is, therapy you will work with a certified and licensed therapist to discuss your personal challenges and develop new skills to move forward through life. However a therapist can not prescribe medication. Where as a Psychiatrist or Licensed Prescriber can prescribe the necessary medications to help you manage your mental illness. Both are beneficial in seeing results.

Sonar Behavior Online Clinic currently has a 24 hour cancellation policy. To cancel an appointment reach out to us via phone, email, or chat to notify us of your cancellation within 24 hours. If you cancel with less than 24 hours you may be charged a cancellation fee, up to the full session cost.

With Sonar, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible, which is why we strive to make the process as easy as we can. Before your appointment you will receive an email from us with detailed instructions for your appointment with your online prescriber. You have the option to either connect via phone or through skype, which ever you feel most comfortable with. Then at your scheduled Date and time, you will received a phone, or video call by your licensed prescriber, where they will greet you, ask a few questions to better know you, and suggest the best treatment plan to manage your mental illness.

Appointment Costs can vary, depending upon which form of payment you use, and if you have insurance converage. If you are using your insurance benefits, you can call the customer service number on the back of your card to confirm your specific benefits. You can ask, “What are my behavioral health benefits?” to find out how much you would pay for a therapy session. If you are using an EAP, you will normally have a certain number of free sessions before you have to pay with your insurance benefits or out-of-pocket. It is best to call before hand to confirm your EAP benefits and how many free sessions you have before you have to pay out of pocket. They will then give you a referral number which you can bring to your first appointment.
